
Temple Judea is pleased to announce that, effective July 1, 2026, Lawrence B. Lambert has assumed the role of President of the Board of Trustees. A devoted member of Temple Judea for more than 25 years, Mr. Lambert has faithfully served the congregation in numerous leadership capacities, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to its mission and future. He brings to this role more than three decades of distinguished experience as a respected corporate attorney in South Florida, along with a deep passion for Jewish communal life and service.

Mr. Lambert is the founder and principal of the Law Office of Lawrence B. Lambert, where he concentrates his practice exclusively on corporate transactional law and serves as outside general counsel to established businesses, emerging companies, and entrepreneurs. Throughout his distinguished legal career, he has earned a reputation for providing strategic counsel and trusted guidance to clients across a wide range of industries.
Widely respected within the legal profession, Mr. Lambert has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer every year since 2017 and holds Martindale-Hubbell’s prestigious AV® Preeminent™ rating—the highest distinction awarded for legal ability and ethical standards. He has also been named to Florida Trend magazine’s Legal Elite and was previously recognized as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Mr. Lambert earned his Juris Doctor, with Honors, from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, where he served as both Senior Research Editor and Senior Articles Editor of the Florida Law Review. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Mr. Lambert is a longtime resident of Pinecrest, where he lives with his wife Julie. He and Julie have three daughters, Abigail who is a rising senior at Duke University, Sydney who is a rising second year student at the University of Virginia, and Sophia who passed away tragically while a student at the University of Florida in January 2021.
