Understanding how public dollars are collected and spent is an important part of transparent government. That is why my team and I are proud to introduce the new Miami Dade County Financial Transparency Dashboard
(https://www.miamidadeclerk.gov/clerk/transparency-dashboard.page), an interactive online tool that gives residents easy access to the County’s financial information in a clear, user-friendly format.
The Financial Transparency Dashboard provides a clear view of where County revenues come from and how these dollars are used to support essential services throughout our community. Through easy-to-read charts and interactive features, residents can explore financial information by revenue source and expenditure category (government functions), helping you better understand how public resources are managed.
As the County’s custodian of public funds, I play a vital role in safeguarding the financial integrity of Miami-Dade County. The Financial Transparency Dashboard reflects that responsibility by transforming complex financial data into a tool that is accessible to everyone, not just financial professionals.

The dashboard will be updated quarterly with current fiscal year financial information. Because the information reflects activity during the current fiscal year, users can filter and drill down through the information, making it easy to explore the data that matters most to them. Whether residents are interested in understanding County operations, researching financial trends, or simply learning more about how public dollars are managed, the dashboard offers valuable insight at their fingertips.
This new resource represents another step forward in my efforts to modernize public access to government information and strengthen public trust through greater transparency. By making financial data user friendly and readily available, the Financial Transparency Dashboard empowers residents to stay informed and engaged in the financial operations of Miami-Dade County.
This dashboard is just the beginning. In the coming months, additional features and financial data will be added to provide even greater transparency and insight into County finances. Residents will be able to drill down by department, revenue, and expenditure type. This important first step empowers residents with the information they need to better understand how public funds are managed and help provide answers to many of the questions they may have about County finances.
