Launched earlier this spring, the Wynwood Music Series brings live music to one of the neighborhood’s best-known gathering spots on select Thursday evenings. Curated with the help of local musician Sean Edelson, the series is designed to give residents, visitors, and nearby workers an easy way to experience live music in a relaxed outdoor setting while supporting one of Wynwood’s longtime local businesses.

Shira Lee’s music blends country twang, fingerpicked blues, and meditative melodies shaped by Middle Eastern musical traditions. Her sound is warm, soulful, and intimate, with songs that feel both personal and transportive.

She will be joined by Cuban singer, guitarist, and composer Rey Rodriguez, whose work draws on Cuba’s musical roots while weaving in blues, rock and roll, and classic country influences. His songwriting is marked by emotional honesty and a raw, expressive voice that carries stories of love, displacement, and resilience.

Together, the two artists will perform an original set combining American and Latin American influences, with two guitars and Cuban percussion creating a stripped-down, close-up performance suited to Panther Coffee’s open-air patio setting.

“Wynwood has always been shaped by artists and the energy they bring to the neighborhood,” said William Kelley, executive director of the Wynwood BID. “This series is a simple way to create more moments like that in everyday public life while encouraging people to spend time at a great local business.”

The event is open free to the public; no tickets or reservations are required. For more information, visit wynwoodmiami.com.
