Dade County Federal Credit Union (DCFCU) proudly  announced the launch of its inaugural “Scholars Who Serve” Scholarship Program,  awarding a total of $18,000 in scholarships to 12 graduating high school seniors from  Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

As part of the program’s first year, each student received a $1,500 scholarship in  recognition of their academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and  commitment to service. The launch of this program reflects DCFCU’s ongoing  commitment to investing in the future of South Florida and supporting students as they  pursue higher education. 

“The “Scholars Who Serve” Scholarship Program was created to recognize and support  young leaders who are making a difference in their schools and communities,” said  Federica Chalumeau, Chief Experience Officer. “We are proud to launch this initiative and  invest in the next generation of changemakers throughout Miami-Dade and Broward  counties.”

Following the success of this inaugural ceremony, DCFCU’s “Scholars Who Serve” Scholarship  Program will reopen for applications in January 2027. Scholarship opportunities, eligibility  requirements, and application details are available online.
