The Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) has announced its service schedule for the upcoming Juneteenth holiday on Friday, June 19.

Waste and recycling collection: All residential curbside garbage and recycling pickup services will run on their normal schedules.

Disposal facilities: All DSWM disposal sites, including the North and South Dade Landfills and the 13 Trash and Recycling Centers (TRCs), will maintain standard operating hours.

• The Mosquito Control Division will not be conducting residential or commercial inspections, nor performing area-wide treatments unless absolutely necessary. Residents can still request a mosquito inspection of their Miami-Dade home or business online at miamidade.gov/mosquitoinspection, to be conducted during the next regular business day.

• Administrative offices: All DSWM administrative offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of the holiday.
