Dear Residents,

Today, I am filled with gratitude. I am honored and humbled to have earned the opportunity to continue serving as your Miami-Dade County Commissioner for District 6.

Over the past year, I have been blessed to serve the community that raised me, shaped me, and gave me the opportunity to give back. Every day, my goal has been simple: to show up, listen, work hard, and earn your trust.

That trust is not earned through words alone. It is earned by being present in our neighborhoods, answering calls, solving problems, holding government accountable, and fighting for the priorities that matter to families across District 6: lower taxes, safer streets, better parks, cleaner neighborhoods, and a more affordable Miami-Dade County.

I thank God for the opportunity to meet so many of you over this past year. From town halls and community meetings to cafecitos, neighborhood walks, senior events, school visits, small businesses, and conversations at your front doors, you have shared your concerns, your ideas, and your hopes for the future of our community. Those conversations have guided my work and strengthened my commitment to public service.

I am especially grateful to the thousands of residents who signed our petition and helped us qualify for the ballot by petition. That support means more than words can express. It reflects something very important to me: this effort has always been rooted in the people of District 6.

I am grateful to my family, whose love, patience, and support make this work possible. I am grateful to my staff, who work tirelessly every day to serve our residents and respond to the needs of our neighborhoods. And I am grateful to every person who has called our office, attended a town hall, invited me into your home or business, stopped me at an event, or shared your thoughts and ideas with me.

Over the last year, we have worked together to deliver real results for our community. We have focused on public safety, infrastructure, quality of life, constituent services, government accountability, and making sure residents have a voice in the decisions that affect their daily lives.

But there is still much more work to do.

I remain committed to putting residents first, protecting taxpayers, strengthening our neighborhoods, and making District 6 an even better place to live, work, raise a family, and grow old with dignity.

Thank you for your trust.

Thank you for your support.

And thank you for the privilege of serving the community that has given me so much.
