Deering Estate is offering reduced admission on 4th of July weekend, July 4 & 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring a picnic and enjoy a relaxing day outdoors among the Royal Palm trees overlooking the quiet waters of Biscayne Bay. Guests can also enjoy a guided Museum Tour at 11:30 a.m. and the Contemporary Currents exhibition“Stratum: a Layered Perspective of South Florida” by Artist-in-Residence Andrea Clement. The exhibition features encaustic paintings which capture the complexities of South Florida’s unique geological and hydrological landscape. On display daily through July 20th in the Garden Room of the Richmond Cottage.
Reduced general admission is $8 per person (ages 4 & up). Free for Deering Estate Foundation Members and children ages 3 and under (membership cards must be presented at gate).
