“As we commemorate the 13th anniversary of Bella’s passing, we honor her with a beautiful exhibit entitled ‘Picture the Cure’ that came to life thanks to the creativity and vision of a group of children battling cancer. They were each given a camera and guidance and challenged to do something remarkably courageous: document their own journey,” said Nicole de Lara Puente, CEO of Live Like Bella.
“Thirteen years ago, we lost our daughter Bella, and in our grief, we made a promise to her that her light would go on,” said Raymond Rodriguez-Torres, Bella’s father. “Seeing how far the Foundation has come — the children it has reached and the families it has supported — fills my heart in a way I cannot fully put into words. I know Bella is smiling down on us from heaven and proudly looking at every one of these children who picked up a camera and shared their journey,”.
The Live Like Bella® Childhood Cancer Foundation is a recognized leader in childhood cancer research and advocacy and provides financial and emotional support to families whose children are battling cancer. During her six-year fight, Bella inspired people around the world to live with compassion and serve others. As of 2026, the Foundation has served children across the United States and in 38 countries.
