For many families in Miami-Dade County, their home represents the investment of a lifetime — the place where children and grandchildren grow, where memories are built, and where families find stability and peace of mind. For that very reason, as Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser, my priority will always be to protect homeowners and ensure that every resident has access to all the benefits and protections available under the law.

Protecting Your Home Also Means Protecting Your Family’s Future

Thousands of residents may qualify for property tax benefits and exemptions that could provide meaningful financial savings.

Each year, thousands of residents qualify for important property tax exemptions and benefits that can provide significant financial relief for their families. However, many homeowners are still unaware that they may qualify for these programs or face challenges traveling to our main offices in Downtown Miami or South Dade.

We fully understand that due to traffic, distance, work schedules, and family responsibilities, it is not always easy for residents to visit our offices. For that reason, our office decided to bring services directly into the community through our Outreach Events — an initiative designed to bring government closer to the people and make services more accessible within their own neighborhoods.

No Resident Should Lose Benefits Due to Lack of Information

We are working to ensure every property owner has direct, free, and convenient access to our services.

Through these community events, coordinated together with mayors, commissioners, and elected officials from each city, our specialists visit different areas of the county to provide personalized guidance, answer questions, and assist residents free of charge with property-related matters.

Our commitment is clear: no homeowner should lose benefits because of lack of information or mobility challenges.

For this reason, I am pleased to invite the residents of Sunny Isles Beach to our upcoming Outreach Event, organized in coordination with Commissioner Fabiola Stuyvesant.
