The Miami Marlins Foundation will welcome children and adults of all abilities to loanDepot park on Tuesday, June 23, and Wednesday, June 24, as the Marlins continue its Baseball For All initiative. Featuring hands-on instruction from Marlins players and coaches, on-field activities, and immersive sensory experiences, the events highlight how baseball can bring people together and create lasting memories for individuals with physical, intellectual, and visual challenges.

Baseball For All is a year-round initiative dedicated to ensuring that individuals of all abilities have opportunities to participate in and experience the game of baseball. Through partnerships with organizations including Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids Foundation, the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, The Miracle League of Miami-Dade, and Special Olympics Florida, the Baseball For All program creates meaningful pathways for participation, connection, and inclusion throughout South Florida.

On Tuesday, June 23, the Miami Marlins Foundation will host Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids at loanDepot park, welcoming youth with physical and intellectual challenges for a day of baseball fun and instruction on a Major League field. Participants will rotate through stations focused on baseball fundamentals, including hitting, throwing, fielding and base running, while enjoying an unforgettable experience at the home of the Miami Marlins. Making the event even more special is that the stations will be led by Marlins players and coaches.

On Wednesday, June 24 participants from the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired will take part in a Sensory Tour, an immersive experience designed to engage participants through touch, sound and smell while exploring loanDepot park. The tour offers a unique opportunity to experience the game beyond sight, providing behind-the-scenes access and hands-on learning opportunities throughout the ballpark. The group will meet with Marlins players and Grounds Crew for an up-close, first-hand experience.

“Through our Baseball For All programming, we are creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities to step onto a Major League field, build new friendships, gain confidence, and make memories that will last a lifetime,” said Alfredo Mesa, Miami Marlins Vice President of Public Affairs. “We are proud to create inclusive experiences that foster connection, celebrate each participant’s potential, and demonstrate the power of baseball to make a positive impact throughout our community.”

The June events are part of a broader Baseball For All calendar that includes Miracle League programming, Special Olympics softball initiatives and additional accessibility-focused experiences throughout the year.
