“Red, White & Grove: 250 United” will take place on Saturday, July 4, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Peacock Park. It is a free event bringing together live music, family activities, local dining and a waterfront fireworks display in the heart of Coconut Grove.
Presented by the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District in partnership with the City of Miami and District 2 Commissioner Damian Pardo, the event is free to the public.
The celebration will feature a headline performance by two-time Grammy Award-winning musician Tony Succar and his band, along with Orlando Mendez, known as “The Cuban Cowboy.” DJ M-DOT will serve as host throughout the evening.
Beginning at 5 p.m., Peacock Park will come alive with family-friendly entertainment, interactive activities and carnival-style games. Visitors also will be able to enjoy Taste of the Grove, showcasing food and flavors from local restaurants and culinary vendors.
Organizers say the event is designed to celebrate both the nation’s historic milestone and Coconut Grove’s longstanding tradition of bringing residents and visitors together through community events. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, and enjoy the festivities along Biscayne Bay.
The evening will conclude with a fireworks display over the waterfront beginning at approximately 9 p.m.
