The advisory board was created to provide structured community and stakeholder input on the passenger experience at MIA, including customer service, accessibility, operational efficiency, and overall traveler satisfaction at one of the nation’s busiest airports.

“Miami International Airport is a gateway to our community and the world,” Rodriguez said. “This advisory board ensures that travelers, residents, and industry stakeholders have a seat at the table as we continue working to improve the airport experience.”

During its first meeting, members reviewed the board’s purpose and framework for future meetings, establishing the foundation for ongoing discussions aimed at identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Rodriguez emphasized that MIA remains a critical economic driver for Miami-Dade County and that maintaining a high-quality traveler experience is essential as passenger traffic continues to grow.

“As MIA continues to serve millions of passengers each year, it is important that we remain focused on responsiveness, efficiency, and service quality,” Rodriguez said. “This board will help ensure those priorities remain front and center.”
