As Miami prepares for increased visitors during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Coconut Grove will host “The Grove Cup,” a public watch party and neighborhood events taking place throughout the tournament.

“The Grove Cup” will kick off with a public Brazil vs. Morocco Watch Party at Peacock Park on Saturday, June 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. Hosted at the iconic waterfront park located at 2820 McFarlane Rd. in Coconut Grove, the free community event will feature live match viewing, music, entertainment, local food vendors, and activities for all ages.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and jerseys representing their favorite teams for an afternoon at Peacock Park celebrating the World Cup.
Programming throughout the event will include:
• The Grove Soccer Experience for kids;
• Deejay and live entertainment;
• Halftime surprise;
• Themed photo booth;
• “Taste of the Grove” local food vendors, and
• Father’s Day weekend activities.
The event is open to the public, with free registration available through Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com/e/world-cup-watch-party-tickets-1989118483931.
Additional Grove Cup events will continue throughout the tournament, with restaurants, bars, and waterfront venues across Coconut Grove hosting watch parties and gatherings for fans following the matches.
“Coconut Grove has always been about community, and this is one of those moments where that really comes to life,” said Mark Burns, executive director of the Coconut Grove BID. “We’re excited to welcome visitors and locals alike during the World Cup, whether that’s watching a match, spending time walking the neighborhood, or taking in a waterfront view. We want people to enjoy Coconut Grove in a way that feels relaxed and welcoming.”
