George Gershwin wrote the soundtrack of American life, and the Zach Bartholomew Quartet brings it roaring back to life. Led by award-winning pianist Dr. Zachary Bartholomew and featuring the captivating vocals of Nicole Bartholomew, the evening weaves together jazz, Broadway, and classical influences in a program that includes “I Got Rhythm,” “Summertime,” “Embraceable You,” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.” The quartet’s expressive arrangements and spirited improvisation make this a tribute as fresh as it is faithful to Gershwin’s enduring genius.
