PAWS4you Rescue brought together animal lovers, community partners, sponsors, and supporters from across South Florida for its second Paws on the Green Charity Golf Tournament at the Miami Beach Golf Club—raising nearly $50,000 to support rescue animals and the organization’s future growth and facility renovation efforts.

The event directly supports PAWS4you’s mission of rescuing abandoned, neglected, and homeless dogs, while also helping advance the organization’s capital campaign to improve and expand its rescue facility so it can save even more lives in the years ahead.
“Paws on the Green represents everything PAWS4you stands for—community, compassion, and giving animals a second chance,” said Carol Caridad, Founder of PAWS4you Rescue. “Seeing everyone together in support of our mission is incredibly moving. The funds raised will help us continue rescuing and caring for vulnerable animals, while also supporting future renovations that will allow us to save even more lives for years to come.”
From the moment guests arrived, Paws on the Green reflected the heart of PAWS4you’s mission: community, compassion, and second chances. Golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters spent the
afternoon enjoying tournament play, on-course sponsor activations, food and beverage experiences, raffles, auctions, and meaningful interactions with PAWS4you rescue dogs.
The event also featured a special appearance by Miami radio personality and community figure DJ Laz, who introduced and celebrated the debut of a new children’s book co-authored with his wife during the tournament festivities. His participation added to the event’s strong sense of community and family-centered atmosphere in support of PAWS4you’s mission.
“Events like this are about so much more than golf—they are about giving animals a second chance at life,” said PAWS on the Green Co-Chair, Lucia Arriola. “Every sponsor, every donor, every golfer, and every volunteer helped make an impact on the lives of animals who deserve safety, medical care, and loving homes. We are incredibly grateful for the support.”

Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about PAWS4you’s lifesaving work, including the organization’s ongoing efforts to renovate and modernize its rescue facility to enhance animal care, improve medical recovery spaces, and expand capacity for dogs and cats in need.
The tournament featured generous support from community sponsors and partners, including VEG ER for Pets, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Coconut Stock, Callaway Golf, Montlick Injury Attorneys, Age of Agave, Tequila Town, Grove Harbor Marina, bartaco, Wynwood Dog Food Co., Poppy Jack’s, Garcia’s Seafood Grille & Fish Market, Bahia Mar Rum, Raising Cane’s, Carrot Express, Eagle Brands, and many more whose contributions helped make the day possible.
Guests also participated in raffles and silent auction experiences featuring prizes and packages donated by community partners and local businesses in support of PAWS4you’s mission.
The event concluded with an awards celebration inside the clubhouse recognizing tournament winners, sponsors, and supporters whose generosity continues to help PAWS4you provide lifesaving care, rehabilitation, and forever-home opportunities for rescue animals across South Florida.
