The Miami Beach Youth Sports Foundation, in partnership with the City of Miami Beach, announces the launch of the Youth Sports & Wellness Festival, a dynamic weekend experience taking place May 29- 31 at Flamingo Park (999 11 Street). Whether you’re a kid who loves to compete or a family looking for a great weekend out, the event is packed with youth sports clinics, tournaments, wellness programming, live music and more.

“The Youth Sports & Wellness Festival perfectly captures the spirit of Miami Beach —our community, our families, and our healthy lifestyle,” said Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner. “We champion events that transform our public spaces into hubs for health and engagement as part of our broader mission to make Miami Beach the fitness capital of the world.”

The festival kicks off on Friday evening with an opening ceremony that’s part block party, part pep rally. Starting at 5:30 p.m., the community is invited to come together for a night of celebration with mascotappearancesby Billy the Marlin and Miami Heat Mascot Burnie along with live music by Young Musicians Unite. A family zone sponsored in partnership with the Irie Foundation will entertain with inflatables and games.

Saturday brings free skills clinics across multiple sports, youth tournaments, wellness zones, family activities and sponsor activations. Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to learn, play, train and compete, while parents step off the sidelines and into the experience alongside them. Festival and skill clinics are free and open to the public. Some tournaments require registration and a $35 per-player donation. To view the weekend lineup and registration, click here.

Free clinics, discovery sessions and open play zones continue Sunday along with a Family Fun Run and awards ceremony to cap off the weekend.

The Youth Sports & Wellness Festival is powered by an incredible coalition of local and national partners united by a love of Miami Beach and a belief in the power of youth sports. Partners include Pura Vida, Anatomy, Puma, Pepsi, MB Tennis Academy, Canas Tennis, Eleven Foundation, Babicka Family, Irie Foundation, Young Musicians Unite and more.

The Miami Beach Youth Sports Foundation (MBYSF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to youth sports, promoting wellness, and supporting positive coaching and healthy sports culture across Miami Beach.
