The Kiwanis Club of Homestead-South Dade’s 51st annual Good Friday Prayer Breakfast — held at the Dickinson Community Center — was an outstanding success according to organizers.

A standing-room-only crowd of nearly 200 gathered to pray together and hear Christian Life Coach Laura Dahne’s stirring speech, “The Mystery of Forgiveness: What it is, what it isn’t, and why it’s so hard.”
“This was a tremendous event,” said Terri Stockwell, Homestead-South Dade Kiwanis Board member and prayer breakfast chair. “Her message of blending practical and spiritual truth was inspiring and well received by our overflow audience.”
Worshipers enjoyed breakfast prepared by the GFWC Woman’s Club of Homestead, followed by Dahne’s moving presentation.
