One Hope United successfully hosted its first annual Hope Open at the iconic Biltmore Golf Course, bringing together community members, partners, and supporters for a day of golf, philanthropy, and impact. The inaugural event raised more than $136,000 to benefit programs serving children and teens in Florida’s child welfare system.

Proceeds from the Hope Open directly supported programs like One Hope United’s Hope Houses — an innovative foster care model providing family-like homes for youth ages 13–17. These homes are designed to offer stability, connection, and a sense of belonging for youth who have often experienced significant disruption. On average, youth entering a Hope House have gone through 19 different placements.

Beyond providing shelter, Hope Houses equip young people with essential life skills — such as cooking, budgeting, and building healthy relationships — while creating space for them to heal, grow, and prepare for adulthood. Due to the program’s success, One Hope United expanded Hope Houses into Illinois, with four homes now operating alongside 10 in Florida, and plans for continued growth.

One Hope United plans to build on this momentum as it continues expanding programs that support children, youth, and families across the communities it serves.
