In the last four years, I fought for $300 million in state investment for our neighbors to make the American Dream of homeownership real through $35,000 at 0% interest downpayment assistance loans to help buy their first home in Miami-Dade, sooner! More than 20,000 families statewide have purchased their first home because of the Hometown Heroes down payment assistance program.
