As soccer fever takes over Miami this summer, the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID) is bringing the excitement to young fans with For the Wyn Soccer Clinics, a series of free youth soccer clinics for children ages 6-10 in the heart of Wynwood.

The clinics will take place on Tuesday, July 14, and Wednesday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to noon, at 2045 NW Second Ave. The site has been donated by More Development, helping create a temporary community space where young players and families can gather, play and celebrate the sport. Each free session is open to 50 children ages 6 to 10 and will include soccer drills, skills training, games, refreshments from local Wynwood vendors and family-friendly activities.
Advance registration is required. Families can sign up at https://tracking.us.nylas.com/l/2a5f71096eb247318de64e2e423a8e4c/0/8e51b82b2d5308903dcd6556b04478806a60415ca6a6d42d3977856230a0b75f?cache_buster=1781621377.
Designed for young players of all skill levels, the clinics offer a welcoming introduction to soccer while encouraging teamwork, confidence and friendly competition. Whether a child is kicking a ball for the first time or already loves the game, the experience is designed to make the sport accessible, fun and memorable for every participant.
The clinics are produced in partnership with the Lighthouse Foundation and Fútbol Sin Barreras, organizations committed to expanding access to soccer and creating positive opportunities for young people through the sport.
“Free community programming is exactly what Let’s Wyn is about, bringing people into the neighborhood through art, culture, food, sport and shared experiences,” said William Kelley, executive director of the Wynwood BID. “These clinics give kids the chance to play, learn and be part of the excitement happening across Miami this summer. We’re grateful to More Development for helping us create a space where families can come together in the heart of Wynwood.”

“We are proud to support the Wynwood BID and help create a place for young players and families to enjoy the neighborhood,” said Whitney Thier, president of More Development. “Donating the site for these clinics reflects our commitment to Wynwood’s future and to the community that continues to shape it.”
The clinics are part of Let’s Wyn, the Wynwood BID’s neighborhood-wide summer campaign celebrating soccer, art, food and community from June 11 through July 17. Fans who register at letswyn.com can earn points by participating in Let’s Wyn activities throughout the neighborhood, including the 48-country scavenger hunt, the Soccer Ball Art Trail featuring hand-painted soccer balls by Wynwood artist Lili Cantero, the Wynwood International Food Festival, local events and offers from participating Wynwood businesses. Points can be redeemed for rewards, with the summer’s top scorer winning two tickets to the Bronze Final Match in Miami on Saturday, July 18.
Families are encouraged to make a day of it in Wynwood, where Let’s Wyn connects the clinics to restaurants, museums, galleries and family-friendly attractions across the neighborhood. After the clinics, parents and kids can continue exploring participating destinations and nearby experiences, including FunDimension, Puttery, Paradox Museum, Museum of Graffiti/Art of Futbol, and Wynwood Walls and other local businesses offering activities, rewards and special summer programming.
