Miami-Dade County will commemorate America’s 250th anniversary with a Time Capsule Installation and America 250 Patriot Marker Unveiling Ceremony. Mayor Daniella Levine Cava will be joined by Chairman Anthony Rodriguez in this celebration of our nation’s storied past, while preserving the present for future generations. TheMiami-Dade 250Time Capsule will remain sealed for 50 years until the tricentennial in 2076, preserving the stories, achievements and cultural spirit of our community.

The America 250 Patriot Marker was made possible through the generous support and partnership of the Biscayne, Coral Gables, and Everglades/John MacDonald Chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Anthony R. Abraham Foundation. The marker will honor those patriots who helped achieve American independence during the Revolutionary War.
