South Florida PBS (<\/span>WPBT, WXEL, and Health Channel<\/b>) is delighted to share an all-new program lineup for the month of June. As we embark on America\u2019s 250th Anniversary celebration, we will feature educational content inspired by American history. This month, our channels will explore historical programs, music and art specials, immersive experiences, and powerful stories of courage, leadership, and perseverance. South Florida PBS invites viewers of all ages to engage with topics that inspire, inform, and connect our community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS:<\/b><\/p>\n

South Florida PBS is excited to announce the return of the award-winning ocean exploration and marine life program <\/span>Changing Seas<\/i><\/b>. The show\u2019s highly anticipated 18th season will premiere on <\/span>WPBT<\/span> on Wednesday, June 17, at 8 PM, and on<\/span> WXEL<\/span> on Sunday June 21, also at 8 PM.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Leading up to the celebration of <\/span>America\u2019s 250th Anniversary<\/b>, programming will showcase inspiring stories and documentaries about American resilience and determination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One highlighted program is the documentary <\/span>Becoming Katharine Graham<\/i><\/b>, a story about overcoming tragedy and the reshaping of American journalism. The schedule will also feature the documentary <\/span>American Experience \u2013 Ronald Reagan<\/i><\/b>, which explores Reagan\u2019s transition from a Midwestern upbringing to becoming the 40th President of the United States.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, viewers can look forward to the premiere of <\/span>Amerigo \u2013 The Search for the American Dream<\/i><\/b>, an original documentary available on <\/span>PBS Passport <\/b>that explores<\/span><\/p>\n

whether there is a new definition of the American Dream and whether it is still attainable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES:<\/b><\/p>\n

This month, tickets for the <\/span>Titanic: An Immersive Voyage <\/b>are available at a 10% discount with the <\/span>code: PBSTITANIC. <\/span><\/i>This experience takes audiences on an unforgettable journey through the tragic story of the most luxurious ship to set sail.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Experience other historical eras firsthand through our additional fully immersive virtual reality experiences, <\/span>Colosseum \u2013 The Legendary Arena<\/b>, where visitors can walk the streets of Rome and witness the lives of gladiators. Or visit the <\/span>Napoleon Experience<\/b>,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
