\u201cAs we commemorate the 13th anniversary of Bella\u2019s passing, we honor her with a beautiful exhibit entitled \u2018Picture the Cure\u2019 that came to life thanks to the creativity and vision of a group of children battling cancer. They were each given a camera and guidance and challenged to do something remarkably courageous: document their own journey,\u201d said Nicole de Lara Puente, CEO of Live Like Bella.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThirteen years ago, we lost our daughter Bella, and in our grief, we made a promise to her that her light would go on,\u201d said Raymond Rodriguez-Torres, Bella\u2019s father. \u201cSeeing how far the Foundation has come \u2014 the children it has reached and the families it has supported \u2014 fills my heart in a way I cannot fully put into words. I know Bella is smiling down on us from heaven and proudly looking at every one of these children who picked up a camera and shared their journey,\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Live Like Bella\u00ae Childhood Cancer Foundation is a recognized leader in childhood cancer research and advocacy and provides financial and emotional support to families whose children are battling cancer. The Foundation was established in 2013 in memory of Bella Rodriguez-Torres, a young girl who passed away at the age of 10 after a long battle with cancer. During her six-year fight, Bella inspired people around the world to live with compassion and serve others. As of 2026, the Foundation has served children across the United States and in 38 countries.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
