The honor, voted on by his peers, \u201crecognizes career excellence, leadership, and community service among public works professionals with more than 20 years of experience,\u201d according to town spokesperson Rod Gibson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/miamimovershub.com\/?p=201\">Deering Estate Artist-in-Residence Spotlight: Andrea Clement<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>Public works professionals from across Florida and the Southeast attend this yearly event to share ideas, strengthen their expertise and explore new technologies. The award highlights directors who have made significant contributions to the profession, the American Public Works Association, and the communities they serve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mayor Tim Meerbott was pleased and thought the award was well deserved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAlfredo\u2019s leadership has helped define the standard of excellence we strive for in Cutler Bay,\u201d said Mayor Meerbott. \u201cThis recognition from his peers speaks volumes. It reflects not only his deep knowledge and professionalism, but also the pride and care he brings to serving our residents every day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Town Manager Rafael Casals said the award reflects Alfredo\u2019s longstanding commitment to the profession and to the residents of Cutler Bay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/miamimovershub.com\/?p=200\">Community Arts Program (CAP) 2026 Summer Concert Series<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAlfredo has built a reputation for delivering results, leading with integrity, and always keeping the community first,\u201d said Casals. \u201cFor him to be recognized by fellow public works directors from across Florida makes this honor even more special. We are proud to see his work and dedication recognized at this level.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Since joining the town, Quintero has been recognized for overseeing more than 30 award-winning projects in Cutler Bay.
