Coconut Grove will mark Independence Day with a special celebration this year as the community joins the nation in commemorating America\u2019s 250th anniversary.<\/p>\n

Red, White & Grove: 250 United will take place Saturday, July 4, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Peacock Park, bringing together live music, family activities, local dining and a waterfront fireworks display in the heart of Coconut Grove.<\/p>\n

Presented by the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District in partnership with the City of Miami and District 2 Commissioner Damian Pardo, the event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

The celebration will feature a headline performance by two-time Grammy Award-winning musician Tony Succar and his band, along with Orlando Mendez, known as \u201cThe Cuban Cowboy.\u201d DJ M-DOT will serve as host throughout the evening.<\/p>\n

Beginning at 5 p.m., Peacock Park will come alive with family-friendly entertainment, interactive activities and carnival-style games. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy Taste of the Grove, showcasing food and flavors from local restaurants and culinary vendors.<\/p>\n

Organizers say the event is designed to celebrate both the nation\u2019s historic milestone and Coconut Grove\u2019s longstanding tradition of bringing residents and visitors together through community events. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the festivities along Biscayne Bay.<\/p>\n

The evening will conclude with a fireworks display over the waterfront beginning at approximately 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of alternative transportation options, including The Underline, Circuit transportation services and complimentary bike valet. Located within walking distance of Coconut Grove\u2019s restaurants, shops, hotels and marinas, Peacock Park offers one of Miami\u2019s most scenic settings for Independence Day festivities.<\/p>\n

A limited number of VIP tickets will be available for those seeking an enhanced event experience, while general admission remains free. \u201cRed, White & Grove: 250 United\u201d takes place July 4, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Peacock Park, 2820 McFarlane Road in Coconut Grove.
